Alexandrians are under constant city surveillance. Since 2023, Alexandria police have run at least sixty-one AI-powered Flock cameras, tracking where you go and building a government record of your life and community. Other unaccountable surveillance technologies are also used by the city.

Across the country, this kind of technology has targeted immigrants, silenced speech, and tracked reproductive choices. Alexandria’s policy doesn’t prevent any of it — and the city keeps adding tools without a public vote.

End the city's contract and remove all of the Flock devices.

Require transparency and accountability going forward
We demand public hearings, a council vote, and independent review of all surveillance tech.
